My favorite thing to tell people lately is “The Village is what we believe in. Rocking it is what we do.”
I suppose it is important for me to answer the question…
Why the Village?
So for us, when it comes to community, the village is where its at. Specifically, the village is the most vibrant form of community that we can imagine. Here’s what it looks like (and please add to the list with your additions):
- Intergenerational connectedness
- Creativity
- Sharing of of our abundance (financial, time, generational, knowledge, food, etc)
- Celebrating all stages and transitions in life
- Living in awareness of how our choices effect the planet
- Sharing meals together
- Gathering for the “normal” things in life
