Craft Shack

The Craft Shack goes beyond being an art supply thrift store. It sustains itself by receiving donations of unused art & craft supplies (whether they be obvious – paint, brushed, paper, fabric, or supplies in disguise – cork samples, wallpaper books, old maps, mannequin parts etc) The Craft Shack is an asset to the village because it takes on the unused and dusty abundance of the community and gives it a new purpose. Supplies will be sold in an inspirational and dynamic environment where project ideas are posted nearby the materials required for the projects- workshops like “trash to treasure” and “scrap fashion” will be hosted at the Hub as a way for the community to approach the ideas of organization, repurposing, and manifesting, in FUN and creative ways. Central to VillageWorks is the belief that every person is creative and that as we give them the right tools and inspiration they are empowered to access their creative nature using items of the “every-day” to transform their community.
